Best sims 3 created worlds
Sims 3 enthusiasts, get ready to pack your bags cause you might be ready for a move! Well this one comes with a twist! You can purchase this amazing map or simply get it as part of the Island Paradise DLC if you happened to have pre-ordered it. In any case, if you love to see the sunset on the coast and experience the life of an island dweller, this is probably one of the best towns to download. Twinbrook is a town that comes with the Ambitions expansion pack, which has two twin rivers that cross and divide the town with a lake in the middle.
And with a grey climate to set the mood, Twinbrook is an amazing town for people who enjoy the simple things in life. Not every sim is built for the country life. But the Appaloosa Plains have the best homes for sims that want to spend their life with country music relaxing on their porches.
If you love having your sim explore meadows and live a simple life then the Appaloosa Plains is the right town to inhabit. Let nature take over and build a simple ranch. Or have your dream mansion built on the beautiful lands that make up the country of Appaloosa Plains. This is arguably one of the largest maps that have ever come out in the franchise, and given that it was the first map in The Sims 3 it surely made an impact on the community.
This cozy town has everything a sim needs to have the life that they want with peace and civility. Lunar Lakes is a map which is set on another world that needs to be purchased in the Sims 3 store. According to the story, sims traveled to this world many generations ago and it has now become a colony far from Earth where people live happy lives on an alien planet.
Lunar Lakes takes a spot on my list because it offers a unique twist that no other map in Sims history has managed to give — alien gameplay! One of the things that makes this northwestern-style town look so good is that it really resembles what a village would look like in a misty mountain environment. It is based on traditional Nordic towns and you can tell that by simply looking up at the night sky — the aurora borealis is right there for all to see.
In fact, it has one of the best town designs in the entire Sims 3 game including expansion packs! Riverview is, by far, one of the most iconic maps of The Sims 3 and oozes with the energy that made us fall in love with the open-world nature of the game in the first place. This mod goes well with the Kinky World add-on too, and modders recommend using them together for a true and more realistic Sims 3 experience.
This mod simply replaces all of the default Sims 3 music with songs from the original Sims 1 soundtrack. This simple mod changes the way loading screens look in the game by adding new features and messages to the default ones. In fact, the main goal of this mod is to take you through a trip that passes every single expansion pack made for Sims 3. Look at this as a loading screen replacer that will help you enjoy the original Sims 3 loading screen with features of all the other expansion packs of the game!
This mod changes the list of GPUs that the game automatically sets to simplify the task of having to do so manually. Northeney looks like one of those traditional coastal US towns with a ton of cozy houses and a lighthouse. There are many things that could be better organized, and some prices just feel a bit off and not realistic at all.
Thankfully this mod corrects this little oversight. But much like the previous item, this mod allows children to perform adult interactions without stretching, and making them feel as natural as possible.
Basically the mod converts a lot of adult motions in the game into children ones, which allows children to perform the same actions as grown up without having to move in a weird way. It fixes a lot of annoying bugs that it had, but it mainly helps the station feel much more realistic by changing the way items on the station look. Gone are the days where every piece of toast looks like it has purple jam plopped on top.
Granted, this is a small change but certainly a pleasing one. The creator of the mod assures that the movement system was built from scratch, which is why it moves so naturally when playing in third person.
The retuned attraction system is a rework of the 1. Which made no sense. With this mod the attraction system is fine-tuned to fix issues like this, without losing the essence of the vanilla system.
It also makes sims that get rejected less prone to asking the same sim out again, which adds one more layer of realism to the game. There are many entertaining careers in The Sims 3, but there are still many of them that seem to be lacking — even with the addition of career expansions. This mod overhauls the number of careers that your sim can chase after by adding a heck of a lot more into your options pool.
This problem is removed with the Progressive Aging mod, which makes aging happen with time instead of milestones. This adds that extra layer of realism to The Sims 3 which seems to be more than needed in a game where everything is moving at a constant speed. Note this mod only modifies the way teens and children age, making the transition to adulthood much smoother and much more realistic than it is in the base game.
It makes the act of woohoo-ing much more realistic by adding animations that make Sims have some, erm, romantic encounters. This is the spiritual successor to the Wicked Whims mod that currently sits at the top of most download lists in the Sims 4 community.
Kinky World is the best mod for people looking for a realistic and mature Sims experience. This has been a recurrent issue in many Sims games especially the third and fourth installations, which are the most complex of the bunch. This mod aims to change all that by altering the way characters interact with each other and how NPCs behave. This really does make gameplay much better and way more entertaining in long saves. If you still enjoy playing this game more than Sims 4 then be sure to install this mod away.
Master Controller allows you to better manage all of your NRAAS mods and makes the game understand how to run them better. In fact, this is one of those mods that seems to not do much until you realize how much stuff goes on behind the scenes. Plus this makes it easier for you to manage many in-game variants using simple sliders. For the latter, at least The Sims has cheat codes!
Fans of high fantasy and medieval adventure are bound to love Dragon Valley. Set between a vast ocean and a craggy mountain ridge, Dragon Valley is a town caught between age-old tradition and modernization. The town features all of the standard amenities found in a regular The Sims 3 world, beautifully redesigned to resemble settings from the medieval fantasy genre.
The day spa's stained-glass dome and the tourney tented stadium are particularly creative. Separate from the standalone title, Sims Medieval, Dragon Valley brings a variety of mystical collectibles and even dragons to the world of The Sims 3.
This location isn't so much a downloadable town as it is a development mistake. Adventureland doesn't exist for most The Sims 3 players and shouldn't exist at all. Adventureland is only accessible to players who downloaded the Origin version of The Sims 3: World Adventures after its patch 69 release. It functionally resembles the Sims 3 base game world of Sunset Valley, but only holds two sims and has no backstory.
Instead, Adventureland was created to test interactions and gameplay for The Sims 3: World Adventures which consists of three vacation worlds and doesn't have a base world of its own. Adventureland was mistakenly released and is a fun easter egg for players who like behind-the-scenes content or want to hunt for the various differences between it and the polished Sunset Valley.
