I was amazed at what the children came up with My husband and I still look back to the wedding advice book and chuckle. Have you asked the children what they might like to do? Why not put together a sheet of paper and ask them to each list five shower ideas they think their teacher would like.
Or you could ask the entire class to brainstorm ten ideas. Then vote secretly for the top three or four. The secret voting is so no-one can say an idea is stupid or dumb. I would put together a list of the ideas mentioned here to give them a starting point and go from there. Then have them help to make a list of the items that need to be made and purchased and make a deadline for items that need to be completed and returned to you.
You might be able to enlist the help of your superintendent or principal to make this a surprise for your son's teacher. Maybe each child could draw a picture and then write a sentence about the teacher or the class to put it all into a scrap book. I am a teacher also, and when I was pregant I bought an inespensive journal and the kids all wrote baby advice for me.
They ranged from watching out for flying rattles to warnings of stinky diapers. I still love to read it! The kids could do something similar with wedding or marage advice ; things to be careful of during the wedding, things they need to do to keep esch other happy. The other teacher also had the kids make me a "brown Bear, Brown bear" type pattern book for the baby.
Perhaps you could make one where the kids fill in the blanks in wedding vows I promise talways share the remote, never to tell you you can't have candy before dinner I am sure they'll come up with some great ones! Other parents, esp. As for ideas, again, a small group of other parents helping out should provide all the ideas you need.

This was so thoughtful. This is a really cute idea! My daughter is 12 and baby obsessed…she would be all over the planning of a party like this! Very cute and creative! I love the mason jar center piece and the blue and yellow color scheme. I bet it was a hit! Learn more about the giveaway here.
